Project Desciption

Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital
Scope of Work:
Supply and installation of 75 mm EPS-based sandwich panels as prefabricated wall systems during the hospital’s expansion phase.

Key Features:

Thermal & Sound Insulation:
The EPS core delivers excellent heat insulation and sound absorption—helping maintain indoor comfort and privacy in both patient and staff areas.

Fire & Water Resistance:
Panels feature calcium silicate facings capable of withstanding up to 1,000 °C for 4 hours, and are designed to be highly water-resistant for robust and safe performance.

Earthquake Resilience & Lightweight:
Lightweight yet structurally resilient, these panels reduce overall structural load, contributing to seismic safety—critical in Nepal’s earthquake-prone zones.

Rapid, Precision Installation:
Prefabricated to standard dimensions (typically 2 × 8 ft panels), the installation process was up to five times faster than traditional masonry techniques, minimizing on-site disruption.

Eco‑Friendly Construction:
Made entirely from EPS and eco materials, the panels align with sustainable design goals, reducing environmental impact while enhancing energy efficiency.

Project Impact:
The integration of these 75 mm panels provided an optimal blend of performance, speed, and cost-effectiveness—helping accelerate construction timelines, enhance patient comfort, and support Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital’s mission to expand healthcare access with modern infrastructure.
